Planit Canada joins Hexagon

We have some exciting news to share.

Planit Canada has officially joined Hexagon’s Production Software division, bringing our team together with the global organization behind CABINET VISION and ALPHACAM.
For our customers, day-to-day support and service will continue with the same team, relationships, and expertise you’ve come to expect from Planit Canada. What changes is the scale of the resources behind us and the opportunities that creates for the manufacturers we serve.

What this means for you

Our commitment to Canadian manufacturers remains unchanged.

The same people are here, answering emails, delivering training, supporting your software, and helping you solve production challenges every day. Your existing relationships with our sales, support, training, and customer success teams continue as before.

What changes is our ability to support and advocate for our customers at an even higher level.

As part of Hexagon, we now have closer access to the teams responsible for CABINET VISION and ALPHACAM product strategy and software development. This gives us a stronger path to bring Canadian customer feedback forward, stay aligned with upcoming innovations, and help ensure the needs of our market are represented as these solutions continue to evolve.

Building on a strong foundation

For nearly two decades, Planit Canada has helped woodworking businesses improve efficiency, reduce errors, and connect design with manufacturing through software solutions, including CABINET VISION and ALPHACAM, as well as partnerships with WEB-CAB and VORTEK Spaces.

Our relationship with Hexagon is not new. We have worked together for decades through CABINET VISION, and more recently through ALPHACAM. This next step is a natural evolution of that long-standing partnership and reflects a shared commitment to helping manufacturers work smarter, grow confidently, and get more value from their technology investments.

Since the day Planit Canada was founded, our mission has been simple: to provide powerful tools and services that help Canadian woodworkers become more creative, productive, and profitable.

No. The same Planit Canada team will continue to provide sales, technical support, training, and customer success services across Canada.

No immediate changes are planned. Your existing agreements, contacts, and support processes remain in place.

Will I still receive support in English and French?

Yes. Our bilingual Canadian team remains in place and will continue supporting customers in both official languages.
